salut a tous,

Digital Performer provides dozens of real-time, automatable 32-bit plug-ins, with graphical control including reverb, dynamics processors and EQ. Use the effects as an insert, on a single channel, or via a send/receive bus.The number of effects you can apply at any one time depends only on the speed of your computer. There is no built-in limit in Digital Performer: the faster your Macintosh, the more effects you can use at one time.

Digital Performer supports mono, stereo and surround tracks. MOTU Audio System allows for effects with mono, stereo or surround (n-channel) inputs and mono, stereo or surround (n-channel) outputs. This enables the plug-in to do things like intelligent mono to stereo or surround effects, or to efficently process power hungry surround input to surround output configurations. Below you will find a list of all the plug-ins that ship with Digital Performer.

Apple G4 Multiprocessor support – A dual-processor G4 Power Macintosh effectively doubles the available processing power for plug-ins running across multiple tracks. Digital Performer dynamically manages CPU load across multiple processors, including third-party plug-in processing bandwidth, so that all existing MAS-compatible plug-ins can immediately take advantage of Digital Performer’s multiprocessor support.

Multiple plug-in windows – Open multiple plug-in windows and surround panners simultaneously.

Configurable inserts – Configure up to 20 insert slots per channel.

Pre/post insert configuration – Specify a number of insert slots to be pre or post fader per channel.

PreAmp-1 - Acoustic modeling of vacuum tube preamp circuitry. Produces extremely smooth, high-fidelity tube preamp warmth. ‘Drastic’ mode provides extreme distortion effects. Flexible controls can be made to match just about any fuzz or distortion box effect.

eVerb - Hi fidelity reverb plug-in. Interactive, graphic controls. Acoustic modeling of initial reflections from auditoriums, small rooms, halls and other spaces to shape your sound. Separate hi-end and low-end reverberators - fine-tune your reverb sound for any type of audio material.

Calibration – Calibrate your listening environment for accurate, reliable surround sound monitoring. Simply set up an omni-directional mic at your listening position and hit the 'auto calibrate' button and the plug-in does the rest.

Bass Manager™ – Redirect and extend the frequency response to and from the LFE channel. This ensures that you have full awareness of the low-frequency content of your surround mix, so that it can be faithfully reproduced when decoded and played back on a surround playback device such as a home theater receiver.

Parametric EQ Surround Edition – Provides n-channels of parametric EQ for surround mastering.

MasterWorks™ Limiter Surround Edition – A flexible, integrated n-channel limiter designed specifically for mastering surround mixes. Includes completely independent LFE limiting and an assignable detector path, which allows the you to feed any combination of n-speaker channels to the limiter detector path, and selectively enable the limiting action on a per channel basis. For example, the center channel could be fed to the limiter’s detector path to duck the entire surround mix for dialog on that channel. You can also choose to limit the entire mix based on all n-speaker channels.

Feedback Delay Surround Edition – The surround Feedback Delay plug-in provides detailed control over every channel in a surround matrix. You can graphically construct the path that the delay taps take as they bounce around a surround speaker matrix. All surround formats, from LCRS to 10.2 are supported. Digital Performer’s surround feedback delay plug-in is capable of producing a hundred discrete feedback paths. A panic button is provided so you can experiment freely and quickly mute the delays if the feedback blossoms out of control.

MasterWorks™ Gate – The third plug-in in MOTU’s premium 64-bit MasterWorks™ plug-in series, the MasterWorks Gate includes real time, look-ahead gating, which opens the gate before the signal crosses the threshold. The MasterWorks Gate can also be triggered by MIDI note data. For example, you can create a drum pattern in the Drum Editor and feed that pattern to the MasterWorks Gate, which in turn could be applied to a continuous sound (such as a synth pad). The result would be a percussive rhythm made up of brief snippets of the continuous sound.

Trigger™ – This plug-in can convert audio waveform peaks in an audio track into MIDI notes, perfect for replacing drum sounds, doubling audio percussion parts with MIDI percussion, and other tasks.

Plate™ – simulates vintage plate reverbs. If you need long, smooth reverb tails, this is the reverb for you.

Quan Jr™ – Provides dithering and noiseshaping in a simple, low-bandwith plug-in. Quan Jr can also be used for ‘lo-fi’ effects.

MS Decoder™ – Decodes a ‘mid-side’ mic matrix without external hardware. Includes adjustable stereo width control. Detailed information about this micing technique is included on the installer disc.

Bye.
