We are currently searching for an experienced Sound Mastering Op to join our team. You must have experience in the use of Adams Smith and/or ION Atom edit controllers. The role is a permanent night shift position.

Job Description/Duties:

Mastering audio in multiple languages for DVD, Broadcast and Archiving
Audio laybacks to and from various format video and audio equipment
Conforming and editing together material to precisely match guide pictures for PAL, NTSC and High Definition masters
QC’ing of Audio material, and advising on repair.
Restoration of audio using Sonic NoNoise, Waves restoration and CEDAR for Windows.

Qualification/Experience:

Working knowledge of the Adams Smith and/or ION Atom edit controllers
Working knowledge of the ProTools editing system
Working knowledge of Dolby systems and standards
Knowledge of QC procedures
Familiar with analogue and digital tape formats and standards
Knowledge of theatrical and domestic audio systems
Good understanding of Component/Composite/Digital and HD video
Able to recognise and correct audio faults and recognise picture faults
Good understanding of the telecine process, including PAL/NTSC film speeds
Good general knowledge of the full Post Production process for Film / TV
Computer literate Mac and PC with excellent communication skills essential
Ability to work well under pressure both independently and as a team member
