Alors le petit récap que je vais envoyer demain à Soundminer Inc. (en anglisch donc, corrigez vite si j'ma trompé):
Wishlist:
- undo in the Spottings too (it's fairly easy to screw the Title when trying to play (double-click on the icon) and using the keyboard shortcuts in parallel) (D)
- see if sound is mono/stereo/more in the Spotting mode (D)
- keep text in the search field intact when switching database (D)
- keep track of metadata changes that are not yet embedded (another small column like the Checkmark one? or maybe a change of the concerned field, text or background color?) (D)
- support for multichannel VST plugins, with dynamic allocation of channels (use with B2X suite or Surround Zone for example) (D)
- ability to "reset" an XFer path for a Spotting Folder (ie. use the default one) (D)
- have the ability to choose which channel to spot when spotting a stereo sound on a mono track (L,R or mix) just like it was in the good ol' days of V3 (O)
- by extension, ability to choose wich channel of a surround file to spot on a monp, or stereo (downmix?) (O)
- we have a "back" arrow made to find the latest research terms. What about creating a "Forward" button to navigate easily through the research terms? (R)
- we should also be able to rearrange the spotting column by dragging the spotted sound in a created folder (or maybe just upper in the list) (R)
- when Spotting, place the Pro Tools cursor at the END of the sound so you can spot another sound in the go without overlapping (Du)
- handles in the non-XP release, even short ones (Z)
- draw all the channels in the waveform view (2 for stereo, and beyond) (Z)
Bugs solving:
- a functionnal "Pro Tools Search" with version 8... Actually it never finds the right session you're working on (OS X.5.7, Pro Tools LE 8, Soundminer 4.1.8.56)... (D)
- tell the user when a waveform can't be build because of file permission problems or name issues (Du/N)
Bye.

I think this happens if you turn off the "Find all" preference on local
database change

We've made the path more visible(red) in latest builds[if it has been
overriden]. Also when you select a higher level transfer path you get a
prompt if you want to reset/clear any of the children. This way you can
just option click the red xfer path, delete its contents and that
effectively resets it. Again, only in newer builds

You should be able to specify handles in the preferences...its in seconds

Spotlight needs to be enabled for it to work. (On your drives, and
ProTools turns it off now so our ProTools search doesn't work anymore
for newer protools versions. I guess we should just remove it.)
Drag n drop of your session onto soundminer should still work though
Bye.
Je rencontre le même problème. Ou peut on mettre en off ce "find all"?Dorian a écrit :Réponse le jour même de Justin, je cite:
