L'update en 4.6.1 de Digital Performer vient de sortir.Elle apporte des correction de bugs et une legere fluidite de l'affichage.
Voila la liste precise des ameliorations

New to DP 4.61

• Recent File Menu has a new preference (Startup Options> Number of Recent Documents). This preference allows you to control the number of listed Recent Files.
• Document Templates Open Button preference (Startup Options> Document Templates). This button opens the Document Templates Folder in the Finder.
• Toggle Expand Button command (Commands window). This new binding will toggle expand/collapse of the Track selector in Edit windows.
• General maintenance and improvements.

Attention G5 Users!

For optimal performance with DP 4.61, we recommend setting your processor performance to the "Highest" setting in the Energy Saver Control Panel. To do so, open System Preferences, double-click Energy Saver, select the Options tab, and change the setting from Automatic to Highest.

V-Rack
The printed update notes booklet states that the V-Rack button “toggles between the last viewed sequence and the last viewed V-Rack.” This behavior has changed so that the V-Rack button toggles between the current play enabled sequence and the last viewed V-Rack.

AAF Import
Pro Tools 6.9 has added the ability to export audio files in the MXF file format. As this is a relatively new audio file export standard, Digital Performer does not currently open these types of files.

OMF/AAF Export options: Enforce Logic compatibility
Logic supports embedded audio in OMF files, but not AAF files.

OMF/AAF Export options: Embed audio data in OMF/AAF file
OMF/AAF Export options: Export audio data as SDII/AIFF/WAV files
The update notes state that these will be grayed out if "Export references to sound files" is selected. They are in fact still available, and will be used for any audio that must be copied instead of references (such as fades, or audio that must be converted from 24-bit to 16-bit).

DAE Automatic Delay (Latency) compensation
There are two steps necessary to enable Digital Performer's Automatic Delay Compensation when running under DAE:

1. Choose the Delay Compensation Engine you wish to use in the Setup Menu->Configure Audio System->Other DAE Settings window:

Short Engine - Use this setting if the greatest total latency of any of your channel strips is less than 1023 samples.

Long engine - Use this setting if the total latency of any of your channel strips is greater than 1023 samples.

2. Make sure that Bypass Latency Compensation is disabled in the Setup->Configure Audio System menu.

Bypass Latency Compensation - This option bypasses Digital Performer's Automatic Delay (Latency) Compensation without turning it off completely and releasing the DSP used for Latency Compensation. Instead, it bypasses the engine so that you do not experience any issues when recording. If you wish to release the DSP being used by latency compensation, set the Delay Compensation Engine to None in the Other DAE Settings window.
